The Quadra (or whatever u use as flash light) should set to a power that lights the subject right, whatever variation u want to use. When u set the light and the fixed aperture in manual mode just make the shutter time longer to control how much ambient light will flood your image. Remember: The aperture controls the amount of flashlight, the shutter controls the amount of ambient light! That will do the trick! :-) Hi Richard,

I only bought it for the video functions but it's very useful to extend the 70-200! Image quality is stunning though! But I think I will now go and buy the D800 so my D7000 is unnecessary. I'm not especially interested in filming (or rather all the extra gigabytes), but it looks really good as a ordinary camera as well.
